THE CDM LACROSSE BOOSTERS
CDM Lacrosse receives the majority of its funding through private contributions and fundraising activities organized through the CDM Lacrosse Boosters. This organization was originally created to help establish, then provide subsequent and necessary financial support and guidance to, the boys and girls lacrosse programs at Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, CA.
Across the country, and within our school district, the economic climate continues to have a negative impact on our schools and athletics programs. As a result, the role of our Booster Club has broadened to include raising the additional funds necessary to cover the general operating expenses of our boys lacrosse program. To that end, the CDM Lacrosse Program seeks donations from participating families, private sources and other outside agencies to help reduce its operating expenses.
For nearly twenty years, the CDM Lacrosse Booster group has led the fundraising effort to help defray the cost of player equipment, game and practice uniforms, team travel expenses, medical staff, additional staffing, and other annual expenses. The lacrosse coaching staff and athletics administration at CDM are not involved in the process of seeking or receiving donations.
All donations are voluntary and the CDM Lacrosse Boosters intend to fully comply with N.M.U.S.D.''s No Pay to Play Fees guidelines. CDM Lacrosse Boosters are organized as a 501(c)(3) corporation (20-5195887) and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The CDM Lacrosse Booster Club is a CA 501 (c) 3 corporation.
