Patrick Everett has been the head trainer for CDM Lacrosse since the 2016-17 school year. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Following his undergraduate work, he was accepted into a dual graduate program, earning both his Master’s in Athletic Training and Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
During his graduate studies, Pat had the privilege of working with military personnel and professional athletes at the Andrew’s Institute in Florida, as well as working with the University of Maryland Men’s soccer and lacrosse teams.
From these experiences, Patrick truly realized the impact physical therapy has in the sports clinic environment, giving him direction for his future career. Pat has found addressing injury and dysfunction early on, and integrating basic maintenance to your daily routine, allows for you to fully enjoy and succeed in every part your life.
Patrick is the founder and owner of Cuirim Sports Recovery in Costa Mesa.
A native of Virginia, Coach Cassi played goalie at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA (NCAA Division III). He went on to play post-collegiate club lacrosse for Durham University in the U.K. while earning his MBA. He moved to Orange County in 2011 and began coaching in the CDM and Surf Dawg programs. He is the founder of Focus Lacrosse, a cutting-edge goalie development platform.

Stephen Rivas comes to CDM by way of a provision of services agreement between Newport Orthopedic Institute and the N.M.U.S.D. for the placement of full-time athletic trainers on all four high school campuses.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Illinois State University in 2015. Following his undergraduate work, he went on to receive his Master’s in Athletic Training from Texas State University in 2017.
In his role at CDM, Stephen works with all of the interscholastic sports programs to provide on-site athletic training services.
